Rob MACLEOD

Rob is a passionate educator.  He has developed 8 different courses in his time at the U and teaches across the spectrum from sophomore to graduate students.  He is a strong advocate for evidence based modern teaching approaches and helping faculty to become the best teachers they can be.  He was a member of the UofU Task Force to develop new measures and methods for Teaching Effectiveness.  He is a member of the Center for Teaching Excellence Faculty Advisory Board, and is currently collaborating with other faculty to explore how best to incorporate AI into effective teaching and learning.  He is a member of the UIT Teaching and Learning Portfolio Committee, which allocates student fees to install modern technology in teaching and learning spaces on campus.   He contributes to numerous initiatives around the practice of teaching and learning, most recently the use of AI in teaching and learning.
