My activities related to teaching reflect my constructivist philosophy. I strive to ensure that my course design and departmental-level curriculum development is centered on the student as an active part of the learning process. In my master’s level OC TH courses, I have implemented strategies to make learning activities interactive and have incorporated many hands-on application lab experiences. In addition to preparing students for fieldwork opportunities throughout the curriculum, I teach fieldwork educators the skills they require to provide effective clinical training for students. I have developed a training program for local fieldwork educators, and I also teach this course at other institutions several times a year.
