RESEARCH INTERESTS

The Uintah Computational Framework (UCF) framework is a general tool designed to simulate multi-physics engineering scenarios on large parallel computing platforms.  I have been a primary developer of Uintah since its inception in 2000, and my current role is to facilitate the use of its simulation capabilities in various multidisciplinary grants/projects and industrial collaborators.

  • Computational Fluid Dynamics with adaptive mesh refinement
  • Large deformation fluid-structure interactions.
  • Large scale parallel computing
  • Simulation of compressible flow.
