MARGO ANDREWS

At the University of Utah, Margo Andrews has taught Acting One (THEA 1033) and Acting Two (2033) both of which fulfill the Fine Arts Foundation credit.
For the musical theater program in the department of theater Professor Andrews has most recently taught the MTP First Year Acting Course (1211-001).  Additionally, she has taught the acting and monologue workshop (THEA 1230) as well as both the Voice and Speech workshop (1221) and the Voice and Text workshop (THEA 3030). During the initial phases of creating the program, she was responsible for assisting with course and program development. The special topics courses that she has developed and taught include Acting American Style (THEA 3150) and Auditions for Actors (THEA 3796).
Additionally Margo has taught workshops in the Actor Training Program's festival week and at The Children's Theater Company in Minneapolis, MN.
Her own education includes training at the University of Utah, The American Conservatory Theater in San Francisco, CA, and Trinity Repertory Conservatory in Providence, Rhode Island. Additionally, she has studied at the Guthrie Theater in Minneapolis and The Linklater Center for Voice and Language in NYC. Other recent workshops include Reacting to the Past, Monumental Consequence and a variety of voice workshops such as the Voice and Anxiety Workshop at Duke University and Voice in Performance conference at The University of Utah.
