  • COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT & OUTREACH
    Meet an Inventor Night
    1 Oct 2010 - 1 Oct 2010
Meet an Inventor Night. Each year my outreach team and I have helped coordinate this event. This year I spoke as the chemical engineering inventor at this event, and gave students and their parents tours of our lab facilities.
  • COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT & OUTREACH
    Explore Engineering summer camp
    1 Jun 2010 - 1 Jun 2010
Each year we conduct a day of engineering activities for a group of students in this camp. Last year it was the Chemical Engineering department’s turn to manage this camp. My outreach team organized the three-day camp for approximately 45 high school students, and developed a full day interdisciplinary project for the students.
  • COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT & OUTREACH
    K-12 Demonstrations
    1 Jun 2010 - 1 Jun 2010
Constructed several portable pedagogical apparatuses which are able to be taken to K-12 classes to demonstrate concepts of chemical engineering, or used during outreach events.
