BIO
I am very proud to be an Assistant Professor of Economics at the University of Utah. I graduated with a PhD in Economics from the University of Utah in 2010. After graduation, I worked as a trade negotiator at the Department of Trade Negotiations in Thailand for five years. Later, I was promoted to Counselor at the Permanent Mission of Thailand to the World Trade Organization (WTO) in Switzerland, where I served for five years. I have traveled to more than 20 countries around the world to negotiate Free Trade Agreements and discuss trade issues. While trade negotiations provided me with tremendous real-world trade policy experience and professional accomplishments, teaching has always been my lifelong passion. I have been teaching economics and international trade since 2009, with my CARE approach, consisting of Clear instruction, Active learning, Real-world applications, and Effective evaluation and feedback. Throughout my teaching career, my students have responded positively because I care about their learning. I pay personal attention to each student and give them every opportunity to be successful.
