THERESA DVORAK

I am a Registered Dietitian and Associate Professor and have taught in the Department of Nutrition and Integrative Physiology at the University of Utah since 2011. My background as a certified athletic trainer led me to specialize in sports dietetics and become a certified specialist in sports dietetics. I began my career working for Intermountain Health Care for nearly 15 years, specializing in health behavior change, weight management, sports nutrition, and athletic training. Currently, I am the director of the Culinary Medicine program at the University of Utah, where I strives to provide meaningful and practical nutrition education and culinary skills to interprofessional graduate-level students within the University of Utah Health Sciences. I also teach and oversees community culinary medicine classes and mentor and precept students throughout their graduate education.  My passion for teaching kitchens is palpable in all that I do!
