GLEN SCHMIDT

Glen Schmidt, is the Emma Eccles Jones Professor in Operations and Information Systems. Research interests include topics such as new product development, supply chain management, and lean-six sigma operations. He has won recognition for both teaching and research excellence at the Eccles School as well as at professional societies including the Institute for Operations Research and the Management Sciences (INFORMS), and the Production & Operations Management Society (POMS). Industry experience and/or research has, for example, been connected to healthcare, high-tech, heavy-duty equipment, automotive, energy, and government.
