RESEARCH INTERESTS
Her current research interest lies at the intersection of information systems, artificial intelligence, and machine learning, with a focus on understanding how algorithmic technologies, data abundance, and automation are fundamentally reshaping firms, markets, and digital platforms. Drawing on economic theory, her work examines how AI-driven decision-making alters information asymmetries, incentives, and strategic behavior in digital markets, and how these changes affect firm performance, competition, and consumer outcomes. She employs a data-driven and applied approach, combining econometric analysis with modern machine learning methods to study economically meaningful outcomes in AI-enabled business environments. Her research has been published in leading journals such as Information Systems Research, Journal of Management Information Systems, and has been presented at major peer-reviewed conferences including INFORMS, ICIS, WISE, WITS, CIST, IIOC, AOM, Marketing Science, and ACM, among others. She has received several research grants and awards, including funding from the Net Institute, the Stempler Award for Research on Family-Owned and Controlled Businesses, an Outstanding Undergraduate Research Mentor Award, and a Masters Teaching Award.
