CHERYL ARMSTRONG

Dr. Armstrong teaches a range of courses within the College of Nursing, including:

NURS 3315 – Integrated Nursing Care of Women, Newborns, and Childbearing Families

NURS 4230 – Transition to Professional Practice

Dr. Armstrong delivers instruction across multiple learning environments, including online, face-to-face classroom settings, in-hospital clinical, and simulation, ensuring students are well prepared for professional practice. In addition to her teaching responsibilities, Dr. Armstrong plays an active role in the College of Nursing Success Academy, a program dedicated to mentoring and supporting new faculty members. She also serves as a preceptor for master’s-level nursing education students and is deeply engaged in faculty–student mentoring initiatives, fostering professional growth and academic success.
