My teaching philosophy centers on developing well-rounded nurse practitioners who possess not only the clinical expertise to provide excellent care but also the emotional intelligence and adaptability to meet the unique challenges of their many roles. By creating a supportive, challenging, and dynamic learning environment that honors the principles of adult learning, I strive to empower nurses to advance healthcare through their practice, leadership, and dedication to evidence-based improvement. Through this approach, I hope our graduates become not just skilled practitioners, but also passionate advocates and community leaders who drive positive change in their communities.
