For six years, my community-engaged learning students have been working with the Edible Campus Gardens to address food insecurity in our campus community. This long-standing partnership has included hundreds of student hours in the gardens, multiple fundraising efforts that have impacted the garden significantly, and a Sustainability Grant that provided seed blocking equipment that, along with my students' efforts, allows the garden to grow from seed rather than purchase plants.
