Go Learn (Continuing Education) trip: London on Stage: co-leading multiple trips that invite the community (both on the U campus and off-campus) to learn abroad

Faculty co-leader for multiple Go Learn trips/year. Go Learn "London on Stage", "A Very English Spring, " "Christmastime in England" and "Historical England" trips for Continuing Education program. Go Learn invites faculty members from all over the university to host travel experiences for the Continuing Education community. As you’ll see on their website, Go Learn has successfully hosted trips to Italy and Centennial Valley, Montana, and has expanded since 2012--with trips to Italy, Japan, Spain, France, Cuba--and London. Go Learn Director, Christoph Dressler, asked Tim Slover and me to lead a new trip in 2013 that continued every year to 2020, then again in 2021 until now: LONDON ON STAGE, which made its successful maiden voyage in October 2013 with a sold-out group of 20 travellers. We sold out our 2018 and 2019 and 2020 trip a year in advance. We believe that those who went with us in 2013, 2014 2015 and 2016 to experience the theatre and other performing and visual arts in London will become lifetime patrons of the offerings in the College of Fine Arts. So we very much see ourselves as bridge builders from the College to the community. Part of my job entails recruiting in the community, which I've done by manning a Go Learn table at the Broadway Cinema when National Theatre Live productions play, several times throughout the year.
