TEACHING INTERESTS
I teach a signficant number of courses affiliated with the math department's Masters of Statistics program. These courses focus on the foundational mathematical theory that underlies much of modern statistics, data science, and artificial intelligence. Taking these courses requires a solid background in calculus and linear algebra, at the very least.
I also enjoy teaching courses in complex variables and geometry. Many important ideas in statistics and data science are best understood through the lens of these demanding but fascinating subjects.
