Dr Nitin Bakshi's research is in the area of Operations and Supply Chain Management. A special focus is on settings with extreme risk, i.e., low probability-high consequence events. From a methodological perspective, his work requires expertise in game theory, optimization, queueing theory, dynamic programming, and simulation techniques.
