RESEARCH INTERESTS

My scholarship offers a transformative, interdisciplinary research program that emphasizes the historical, sociopolitical, and cultural dimensions of mathematics education. My work interrogates and resists oppressive paradigms and develops alternative frameworks that challenge the status quo. I serve as principal investigator on several projects, including archival research on mathematics education in settler-colonial U.S. boarding schools; research supporting multilingual learners in mathematics; and community and family engagement initiatives in mathematics.
