RESEARCH INTERESTS

My research focuses on the developement of mathematical approach to quantify the Earth's internal structure (from subsurface to the inner core) with uncertainties using geophysical observations to better understand the physical origin and dynamic processes of the Earth interior.

Keywords: Seismic body waves, surface waves, normal modes, gravity, electrical resistivity, ambient noise tomography, spatial autocorrelaton, seismic anisotropy, body wave and normal mode attenuation, seismic hazard, Vs30, subsurface structure, crust and mantle structure, lowermost mantle structure, inner core structure, ultra-low velocity zones, linear and nonlinear inversions, linearized inversions, trans-dimensional Bayesian inversions, neighborhood algorithm, and Metropolis Hasting sampling.
