RESEARCH INTERESTS

I am interested in spatial data science with application to health and wellbeing. Currently, I focus on three different research streams which revolve around the the environment and society: 1) statistical approaches for disease surveillance of COVID-19 in the United States, 2) quantitative analysis of online hate speech and hate crime, 3) addressing methodological issues in spatial simulation models, focusing on disease outbreaks.
