NATALIE DESCH

My research agenda in dance is found on several levels. I restage dances of the past for professional dance companies and aspiring dancers at the university level. I choreograph dances through collaborative processes with a range of constituents from young professionals to elementary-aged students. My scholarly research explores the indelible connections between peoples’ histories and their creative work. Finally, my research includes my performing experiences as a dance artist. These experiential research events are conduits for theories and beliefs to be shared through movement.
