The major themes that tie my practice, teaching, service, and scholarship together are 1) improving the design and implementation of preservice teacher preparation programs and pedagogies, and 2) rethinking P-12 English Language Arts and social studies curricula to be more representative of the peoples of the United States, with a particular emphasize on accurate, contemporary representations of Native Nations and peoples.
