    In 2023, the First Annual Health Expo was delivered in St George with both UofU and Utah Tech health professions programs represented. Immersion activities were conducted with local high school students (80 attendees). Plans for 2024 are to repeat this activity, but also travel to rural regions to engage with students, counselors, administrators and faculty.

    Student Pro Bono Clinic in St. George

    Efforts continue with legal departments on the UofU and Utah Tech Univ campuses to establish a pro bono clinic in St. George following the template of UofU pro bono clinics in Salt Lake City. This intra-professional clinic with the PTA program in St. Goerge will enhance student learning and it is hoped address health inequity in the region. An additional pro bono clinic is being investigated with Uof U Physician Assistance Program in St. George as well.
