I have a strong professional interest in lifestyle management and preventative medicine. Currently, I am engaged in research focused on diabetes management within the low-income, Spanish-speaking population. My research explores the interdisciplinary role of occupational therapy within the diabetes management team, specifically examining how client-centered, holistic approaches can enhance the likelihood of successful lifestyle changes in patients. Additionally, I am keenly interested in the broader implications of lifestyle change in the context of disease management.
