  • Prescription drug pricing, affordability, and access, including the design and evaluation of pharmacy benefit structures, pricing benchmarks, and policies affecting patient out-of-pocket costs.
  • Health economics and value assessment of pharmaceuticals, with an emphasis on cost-effectiveness analysis, budget impact analysis, and the incorporation of patient-centered outcomes and equity considerations.
  • Pharmacy policy and market structure, including the role of pharmacy benefit managers, pharmacy closures, and regulatory interventions affecting community and long-term care pharmacy access.
  • Patient-centered health services research, integrating patient preferences, caregiver burden, and community engagement into economic and outcomes research.
  • Translation of economic evidence into policy and practice, including regulatory science, drug pricing reform, and the implementation of evidence-based payment and coverage policies.
