RESEARCH INTERESTS

Dennis Soldin’s research lies at the intersection of astroparticle and particle physics, focusing on high-energy cosmic rays and the their interactions. He uses data from the IceCube Neutrino Observatory and other astroparticle experiments, including the Trinity Neutrino Observatory and TAMBO, as well as accelerator-based initiatives such as the Forward Physics Facility at CERN, to investigate high-energy particle interactions in extensive air showers initiated by cosmic rays entering Earth’s atmosphere. This research provides critical insights into the origin and nature of high-energy cosmic rays, advances our understanding of fundamental particle interactions, and helps improve the interpretation of observations across multi-messenger astrophysics.
