Dae Hong Kim is an educator, media artist, and serious game developer at the intersection of game development, immersive media art, and interdisciplinary research^{. Currently an Associate Professor at the University of Utah Asia Campus, he pioneered Korea’s first university-level courses in game engines and has served as Chief Innovation Officer (CIO) in the industry, bridging the gap between academia and real-world technology production.
