HAMID KHAN

My teaching spans undergraduate and graduate levels across English language education, writing and rhetoric, and TESOL. I have taught a wide range of courses including General English, English for Specific Purposes, Academic English, and English for Academic Purposes, as well as rhetoric and writing courses in the humanities and arts. My experience also includes discipline-specific writing and research courses, including writing and research for computer science students.

At the graduate level, particularly within MA TESOL programs, I have taught courses in TESOL methodology, language assessment, English for Academic Purposes, grammar pedagogy, lesson planning, and curriculum design.

Across these contexts, my teaching emphasizes academic literacy development, critical thinking, research-informed practice, and pedagogical coherence. I aim to integrate theory and practice, foster reflective learning, and support students in developing both disciplinary knowledge and transferable skills.
