My research leverages digital technology to support innovative and developmentally relevant approaches for understanding the individual’s experience and relating that experience to clinicians. My initial efforts as an early adopter using tablet computers to support data collection from children and adolescents were subsequently transformed into the conceptualization, development, and evaluation of innovative digital health interventions to support patient-centric approaches to care. My past projects engaged key stakeholders, including children, parents, and clinicians, through methods that support their participation in clinical settings while minimizing burdens of time and travel.
