SHARI FRASER

Dr Fraser serves as a clinical professor within the Educational Leadership and Policy Department at the University of Utah. She teaches graduate courses in school improvement, instructional supervision, organizational change, and leadership practicum (fieldwork) experiences, supporting candidates as they translate learning into authentic school-based practice.

Her teaching is guided by principles of adult learning and is intentionally designed to be experiential, practice-centered, and highly interactive. Across coursework and practicum settings, Dr. Fraser structures learning around real world leadership dilemmas, collaborative problem solving, and applied decision making tasks that mirror the complexity of school environments.

Field-based supervision is an integral part of her work, as she engages with aspiring leaders to cultivate reflective judgment and adaptive leadership skills. Through structured reflection, dialogue, and feedback, she supports students in developing the professional habits necessary for effective and ethical leadership
