ANITA PASCOE

I am an experienced educator specializing in courses at the intersection of health, society, and policy. I have taught extensively across disciplines, including sociology, public health, and interdisciplinary health studies. My teaching emphasizes social demography, social epidemiology, and the structural factors influencing health disparities.

I have designed and delivered courses in both traditional and online formats, covering topics such as population health, families and health, healthcare policy, and research methodologies. I have mentored students in capstone projects and guided future health professionals in understanding the broader social determinants of health. I was recognized for my commitment to student engagement and interdisciplinary learning when I received the Graduate Student Teaching Award from the University of Utah's Department of Sociology.
