I have had the privilage to support the Department of Chemistry teaching mission by educating students in the classroom at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. Specifically, at the graduate level I leveraged my extensive expertise to teach courses in Biophysical Chemistry and Organic Spectroscopy, the latter of which has specific emphasis toward training graduate students in theory, data acquisition and spectral interpretation of NMR spectra for the characterization of small molecules. Both of these courses have been cross-listed as an advanced undergraduate courses as well. At the undergraduate level I have developed and taught second semester Biochemistry, and more recently I de novo developed and taught the Physical Chemistry for Life Sciences course, which is an integral component of the rapidly growing Department of Chemistry Undergraduate Biochemistry major.
