RESEARCH INTERESTS
My research program focuses on Alzheimer’s disease and Alzheimer’s disease-related dementias (AD/ADRD) dyads (i.e., patient-care partner), examining diagnosis, treatment, and care planning alongside the cognitive, emotional, and physical health outcomes of both partners. Specifically, my current research focuses on developing and implementing advance care planning behavioral interventions in community-based AD/ADRD dyads. This focus builds on nearly a decade of interdisciplinary collaborative work with the Dassel Lab team members, community partners, funders, and a community advisory board.
