Nutrition & Integrative Physiology
BIO
I grew up in Iowa where I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Biochemistry and Exercise Science from Simpson College. I completed the Coordinated Master's Program and earned my Master of Science in Nutrition & Integrative Physiology from the University of Utah. As a registered dietitian for the Utah Center for Community Nutrition, my focus is on community outreach, helping individuals and families embrace healthy eating. In the classroom, my goal is to inspire students to pursue their passions and create opportunities for experiential learning. My areas of interest include diabetes prevention and nutrition education, culinary nutrition, global learning, and health equity in dietetics. When not in the office, you can find me climbing, snowboarding, or hiking.
