His work integrates fundamental fluid dynamics with the development of advanced instrumentation for meteorological and atmospheric measurements. He received his B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in Physics from the University of Delhi and earned his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the Jawaharlal Nehru Centre for Advanced Scientific Research (JNCASR), India.
