  • Assistant Professor (Lecturer)

BIO

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences and a Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from the University of Findlay. Since entering the field, I have gained extensive experience across diverse settings, including adult inpatient, acute care, community, and outpatient pediatrics. After several years of clinical practice, I pursued advanced education and earned a post-professional clinical doctorate in Occupational Therapy from Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions.

Currently, I serve as a full-time Assistant Professor and Doctoral Capstone Coordinator in the Occupational Therapy program. In addition to my academic role, I continue to treat patients in the community, specifically focusing on individuals recovering to their prior level of function following neurological injuries. My clinical work is complemented by a deep passion for exploring the role of occupational therapy in lifestyle management, particularly in relation to diabetes and the promotion of healthy habits and routines.
