BIO
Natalie Badgett, PhD, BCBA-D is an assistant professor in the department of special education at the University of Utah. Dr. Badgett has extensive experience in the implementation of applied behavior analysis in clinical, school, and community settings. Her clinical experience has largely focused on assessment and intervention to prevent and address severe and persistent interfering (i.e., challenging) behavior and she is particularly interested in supporting generalization of intervention outcomes to learners' communities. Her approach to applied behavior analysis centers quality of life, as defined by individuals and their supporters, as the primary goal of intervention; her work relies heavily on respectful and meaningful collaboration with direct recipients of applied behavior analysis, their supporters, and their communities.
